Tooth fairy

hi here is some culture about tooth....

Austrian Tooth Fairy
In Austria, you either make the baby tooth into a pendant head, a key ring, or throw the upper tooth under the house and the lower over the roof.

English Tooth Fairy
One tradition in England held that if a child's tooth fell out, that child must drop it into a fire, to avoid having to look for it after death, and this may be the origin of the importance of a lost tooth. This tale was handed down during the Middle Ages to smaller children during the teething stage.
The addition of fire into the story may have conjured up images of witchcraft. Suspected witches were often burned, because people believed money appeared after they threw articles into fire. From this myth comes the importance of keeping a tooth. When a witch burned a piece of hair, clothing or teeth from a person, she supposedly obtained power over them. Parents may have prompted children into keeping teeth or burning the teeth themselves in order to keep themselves free of demon possession.

European Tooth Fairy
In Europe it was a common practice when a child's baby tooth fell out to bury it in the ground. The tooth was likely buried in the garden or surrounding field. It was done so that a permanent tooth would grow in its place.
The other reason for this ritual was the superstition that if a witch got a hold of the tooth, a curse could be placed on the child. By burying their children's teeth, this unfortunate curse was prevented from happening.
As people migrated to America, many of the same beliefs and superstitions followed them. However, since most of the people now found themselves living in towns and cities, bare land wasn't as plentiful. They began placing the teeth in small flowerpots, or planter boxes. Eventually this rite too changed, and the fallen out tooth was placed under a child's pillow, where the parents switched the tooth (always in the middle of the night) for a treat or money.

French Tooth Fairy
The French child puts his/her baby tooth under the pillow when he/she goes to bed. The fairy takes it while he/she is asleep, and replaces it with a present instead of money. The present that is left is a toy car or something little like that.

Hungarian Tooth Fairy
In Hungary one custom may have been that the baby tooth was put into a bottle with water, and the tooth melted in about two years time.

Italian Tooth Fairy
In Italy, they just keep the baby tooth as a keepsake.

Japanese Tooth Fairy
If it is a lower baby tooth, throw it up onto the roof; and if it is an upper tooth, throw it underneath the en-no-shita which is the lower portion below the floor of a Japanese house. It is done so that the upper tooth grows healthy downwards, while the lower tooth upwards.

With friends we can do a lot of things. We can laugh together or cry together. We can hang out or just saying “hi”. Sometimes you could disappointed with your friend. maybe your best friend. although you love then. They are your close friend. it’s still a lot of problem u may face in your life. Sometimes, the close person to you can harm you more than the other. Right? But, it’s life. Life that you must face.

I have a lot of things to do at home. But I always do my best to have some times with my friends. I do a lot of things with them. Such as, cooking, study together, and hang out together. When he moved here and got the citizen of Indonesia he made that name. Met my Grandma Murniati at Toli-toli. Then they got married. In their married they have five children. The first one is Henry (my father), the second one is Sriani, the third is Rudy, the fourth is Suryani and the last is Elly. They lived at a small town near the see in Sulawesi named Donggala. My father likes swimming and playing so much until his parent sent him to Surabaya to study at age of 10.

In Surabaya he lived with his aunty. His aunty has children too. They go to school together, play together and other else. But my father don’t like lived in Surabaya. He missed his family. Imagine his father and mother. In school he became a thimit student. When he enter senior high school. He started to know Jesus. He joined a Christian community which lead by Om Leo and his wife Tante Anna. There my father met my mother Dewi Marjati. He falling in love with her. Every Saturday they met at my mom’s house to have a cell group. They discus about the Bible. If the day is raining my father’s friend didn’t come because of the rain. That is my family. Sometimes my brother and my little sister are fighting. They likes to fight about something silly. That is my family and I loved them so much…

My perfect holiday

Hi friends, last June and July is a long….long.. holiday. Of cours a lot of us were went vacation with family or friends. Some of us were went aboard, went to other city or just stay at home. Maybe you have dreaming about perfect holiday. Going to romantic place or a wonderful place. Me too. I want to share my dream perfect holiday.

People usually said a lot of way to Rome. For me that words inspire me about a perfect holiday to Rome. A lot of way to Rome means I can go there in a lot of way. But I don’t know which way can make me go there. OK! Now we are not discus about the way to Rome which a lot. We are discussing about Rome it self.

Rome is a historical place. No other city in the world equals the history of the Eternal City. Founded more than 2700 years ago, the city of Rome reigned as the Caput Mundi, or Capital of the World.Monumental buildings like the
Pantheon and the Colosseum are reminiscent of the era when emperors like Nero, Trajan and Hadrian ruled the Roman empire. But todays Rome owes much of its attractiveness to the Renaissance period when new squares like the Campidoglio were developed and new buildings were constructed. The most famous of these buildings is the largest church in the world, the Saint Peter's Basilica. You see? Rome is wonderful right?

First I want to tell you about my favorite place, Basilica St. Peter. It is located in Vatican City, across the river Tiber, west of Rome's center. Vatican City is completely surrounded by the city of Rome.
The current location of St. Peter's Basilica is the site of the Circus of Nero in the first century AD. After Emperor Constantine officially recognized Christianity he started construction (in 324) of a great basilica in this exact spot, which had previously been a cemetery for pagans as well as Christians.
In the mid-15th century it was decided that the old basilica should be rebuilt. Pope Nicholas V asked architect Bernardo Rossellino to start adding to the old church. This was abandoned after a short while, but in the late 15th century Pope Sixtus IV had the
Sistine Chapel started nearby.
St. Peter's Squarea lot of thing you have to see here. First is St. Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro), designed by Bernini and built between 1656 and 1667. There are two beautiful fountains in the square, the south/left one by Carlo Maderno (1613) and the northern/right one by Bernini (1675).
Exterior, the dome of St. Peter's was designed by Michelangelo, who became chief architect in 1546. The facade is topped by 13 statues in travertine. From left, the statues represent: Thaddeus, Matthew, Philip, Thomas, James the Elder, John the Baptist, Christ the Redeemer (in the center), Andrew, John the Evangelist, James the Younger, Bartholomew, Simon and Matthias. St. Peter's statue in this set is inside. Two clocks are on either side; the one on the left is electrically operated since 1931, with its oldest bell dating to 1288. The northernmost door is the Holy Door, in bronze by Vico Consorti (1950), which is by tradition only opened for great celebrations such as Jubilee years. The Door of Death is the far left door into the basilica. Its name derives from its traditional use as the exit for funeral processions as well as its subject matter.
Interior, about all of the wonderful statue, the picture and the hall. It’s very impressing. You can’t imagine how the ancient artisant made them.

The most important one to me is the Confessio. At the foot of the baldacchino and papal altar is the sunken Confessio, a 17th-century chapel named in honor of the confession of St. Peter that led to his martyrdom here. The Confessio is better seen from the crypt (or Grottoes) below, where there is a glass wall looking into it. That’s a little information about Basilica St. Peter. A lot of place you still can found there like Coliseum, Theater of Marcellus, castle St. Angelo, Trevi Fountain and ecetra. Hope you can enjoy your holiday…..
